Westfall by Okkervil River.

ETA: Confession, I have a really long carefully curated murder ballad playlist because I love them, but this is the first one to come to mind as actually suiting Jedao. Too many of them are specifically about murdering lovers or avenging their mothers!

My vote for the least Jedao murder ballad is Katie Dear, featuring a protagonist whose logic appears to be "You can't kill me if I die first!"
