As the meeting ends, the team members move to their assigned tasks.
Dar, Deyna, Seyli and Sulen collect some heavy-duty servitors and begin transferring supplies to the Cantata.
Alaric, Reshad, Shess, and the Cantata's drone prepare to remove the harness from Ankat's moth, The Sedulous Eel.
Back on the Cantata, Sasha goes to her office and starts remotely wiping memory nodes on the base's grid. Jedao is in the Communications/Gunnery room, controlling the weapons. Xiulan acts as his backup. Remi has been instructed to look for patterns or causes of the missing interstellar signals.
Meanwhile, Hana and Eddox look after the mothlings, perhaps joined by Mafyyil, who for some reason has not received clear instructions. Gerae and Ione divide their attention between the mothlings and the nest of pseudo-dragons.
[Welcome to a new move!
I know that things are stressful and uncertain for all of us right now. Please don't fret if you suddenly find yourself with less or more free time than usual--we will adjust! If you would like to give your character a node of peace where they drink tea and admire baby aliens for the next while, this can be arranged. Conversely, if you want a plotty distraction, we will bring you one!
My own focus is unreliable of late, but I'll work on a recap of the previous move as I can.]

Re: Dar and Seyli in the - Warehouse - with a Servitor
Date: 2020-04-11 03:03 am (UTC)"That's great, that you know how! I think he's set up to handle all kinds of goods."
Following the directions from the Grid, Dar hangs a left. They're in a very short corridor that ends in a wide single door with an old-style palm lock. Dar raises her eyebrows and places her palm on the panel.
After a second or two, the door whooshes up into the ceiling and a gust of cold, sterile-smelling air rushes out. Lights come on slowly in the big space ahead of them.
To the left are a range of big metal doors: that's where the cold is coming from. Freezers, Dar thought. Ahead and to the right are rows and rows of open-frame metal shelves, towering up to the ceiling more than four meters above their heads. They're labelled tersely: Medical, Stable foods, Synth mass, Gen. repair+tools, Power, and more. They match the more detailed inventory diagram Dar has on Grid.
At the edge of a town down-planet, it wouldn't be considered that large a warehouse, but on this small station, it's a huge space.
"OK, so I made this list - can I pass it t' you in the Grid?" says Dar.

"D'you think the Big Guy can help us fill out the space we got? I made some estimates, but I didn't wanna make things too tight, ya know?"
