1. Sasha watches very serious scientific documentaries and space anime and some animated dramas that she discovered when she was studying the high language.

2. Tea with jam.

3. A multitool.

4. Chaotic good, though her emphasis on keeping her promises can skew her alignment in weird directions.

5. Salamanders. And hawks, which is a little awkward in the heptarchate.

6. Dark blue (she has complicated feelings about other shades of blue).

7. Sasha has a jacket with a collar that she reserves for special occasions. At least it has more pockets.

I have always wanted to try black tea with jam! I already have had Korean citron tea, which is, like, basically marmalade + hot water.

I used to drink tea with dissolved orange-juice concentrate when I was sick sometimes, before I discovered a particular brand of ginger tea that is ideal for sick days. I don't think Sasha shares my love for stupid amounts of citrus, though!

...I was so surprised the first time I had citron tea. I was in Tokyo, Japanese isn't my first language, and I had no clue that yuzu-cha didn't involve anything that had come from a tea plant.

That said, it was delicious.

I love citron tea! I don't have it very often but I should probably get some from the Korean supermarket next time we go.

The Korean word for tea is also cha and it encompasses everything from citron tea to what Americans think of as tea-leaf tea to tisanes and herbal teas to thin sweet grain porridges you drink out of a mug to things like barley and corn tea. I have come to the conclusion that it is as vague and unhelpful as "salad" in English (jello salad?!?!).

I'm inordinately interested in differences in definitions, so that's fascinating. (Yeah, 'salad' is... uh, stuff in a bowl? Any word including Caesar salad, jello salad, and tuna salad is almost useless.)

Drinkable thin porridge sounds tasty.

1. The Andan version of SyFy's "Face Off". Historicals, for the costumes.

2. Ethically sourced lentil soup, probably.

3. Restraints. An extra stylus. An extra hair pin.

4. Lawful neutral currently transforming into true neutral.

5. Wolf of course :)

6. Anything vivid, but they do have a fondness for bright blue.

7. this but in slate gray and with various levels of decoration depending on the formality of the event. Hair pinned up with a heptagonal barrette they should probably throw out now.

1. Edifying documentaries about space colonies and life on the voidmoth, and also kind of romantic space anime that gets one accused of not being able to string together entire sentences.

2. Reshad's far from picky, but she really enjoys fresh vegetables with vinegary sauces. Give her a truly fresh fruit to see her act half her age in delight.

3. An excuse.

4. NN with some highly questionable tendencies (her original incarnation would have been LE if her system had alignment.) That said, she does care about others; it's complicated.

5. One of those butterflies dressed in warning coloration. You don't have to worry about the poison of you aren't trying to eat the butterfly, and they're just so pretty.

6. Green, the color of a forest in full daylight.

7. Assuming she's at leisure, bright-colored dresses, plenty of jewelry, and fashionable, impressive makeup coordinating with her main colors.

1. Sports Anime

2. Some kind of grilled meat on a stick, but they're not a picky eater in the slightest.

3. Seyli, on duty, would have a utility belt with a multi-tool, a combat knife, gun,etc. When not on duty, the knife and multitool stay on their belt...and if they can get away staying armed with a gun, the gun does too.

4. Rocketing back and forth between lawful good and chaotic good depending on their mood and the person giving the orders.

5. I'm going to say something like a Malinois or German Shepard. They know they work best for someone/with a handler rather than on their own and like dogs, generally.

6. Neon pink and green

7. Black with some kind of shocking neon accent color. Either a trim suit or a bodycon dress.

1. The hexarchate equivalent of Mythbusters, which he argues with incessantly. He would send in fanmail if he didn't think it'd get censored.

2. Pizza, like any true student. Trying to find something that fits his idea of what it should be has been harder than expected. Why would someone put pineapple on one?

3. A toolkit. Some could even be described as sonic. (Well, his toothbrush can.)

4. He claims True Neutral, probably leaning toward Neutral-Chaotic Good.

5. A gigantic snake. An owl, perhaps. Something with wings.

6. Black, like the color of the gaping void that swirls in his chest. Alternatively, darker shades of purple.

7. A lab coat, obvious.

1. What is everyone else watching, because Ione usually joins in and tries to figure out the appeal of what's in front of her. If forced to choose, she would probably also pick the space anime so at least we're in good company.

2. Spiked ginger ale or any other mildly-alcoholic but sweet-and-fizzy thing, and pasta that also has fish in it. A nice shrimp scampi with noodles, maybe.

3. Gloves. A scalpel kit if the pockets are big enough. The gloves are not medical gloves, though, they're opera gloves.

4. I had to track down the alignment quiz for this one because it was extremely hard to determine! Ione is pretty firmly a chaotic good though.

5. The great egret.

6. A deep purple.

7. Oh boy, in what culture? If she could pick anything she wanted and assume tat anything she wore would be appropriate ... something along the lines of this dress and ornately dangly earrings. Otherwise she'll just do her best to fit in.

1. Aymad has an unreasonable love for industrial documentaries aimed at school-aged children. If the Hexarchate has _How It's Made_, he owns the entire series.

2. Pork dumplings. And he'll eat pickled ginger slices by the pint. (The pickled ginger obsession dates from before his tour of duty on a Kel moth, which doesn't save him any mocking.)

3. Personal minitablet with at least six books (cheesy romances).

4. Neutral good. He would also disagree, because that's not a properly Shuos-ish sort of alignment.

5. He doesn't identify with any animals in particular, but he is rather fond of cats.

6. Dark green.

7. For most of his adult career, 'going to a party' has also generally meant 'working', so it's all variations on the red-and-gold Shoot Me Now uniform with varying levels of jewelry. Going out for a drink with his partner is more likely to involve finding the closest combination of legally required clothing that doesn't have suspicious stains, without regard for good taste.

1. low-quality local programming in his low language, foreign programs acquired through Andan cultural exchanges, plus he used to watch confiscated heretical cultural material, although never more than would have been acceptable and explicable as part of his work.

2. the simplest, fastest, and cheapest H*archate version of (non-instant) ramen.

3. unless he's on the job (and sometimes even then) Virmad almost always has at least one physical book with him.

4. the midpoint of the hypoteneuse of the triangle between LN, LG, and NG.

5. honestly just (scry)wolves. predictable.

6. Virmad likes grey-blues.

7. for fancy parties, a Rahal-style jacket that looks like my weird son's but not leather, but instead of being black his whole outfit is various shades of blue and grey.

for non-fancy parties, the H*archate equivalent of a nice t-shirt and jeans.

1. What media does your character watch? (Kel dueling TV, Andan soap operas, illegal streams of heretic foreign movies...)

Heretic foreign movies, if she can get them! Also recordings of concerts, food documentaries, and cooking shows.

2. What is your character's favorite food and drink?

Fresh fish grilled with citrus and herbs; fresh fruit; honey cake. White wine, or fruit spritzers.

3. What does your character always keep in their pockets (or equivalent)? . A knife with a retractable blade, a multitool, spare change or the equivalent, a handkerchief, some string, a bit of insulated wire. Around her neck is a locket-looking thing that's actually a little data capsule with recordings of prayers.

4. What D&D alignment would your character be? neutral good (that's my usual alignment).

5. What animal does your character identify with? Mama bear.

6. What is your character's favorite color? teal blue, like the Mediterranean Sea on a sunny day.

7. What does your character wear for parties? . It's been a long time since she had party duds. Probably a long embroidered tunic, like a kurta, over drawstring trousers, tooled leather sandals, maybe a long sleeveless vest with more needlework, and a long filmy scarf/shawl.
