First, I want to apologize for closing the post on leadership of the character group early. I should have given all players a reasonable amount of time to respond, and it turns out that at least one player did not get a chance to weigh in with their opinion.
I originally envisioned this as a slower-paced game, and obviously that hasn't happened. Realistically, it doesn't make sense to "throttle" people's posting paces, because people are online at different times and have different availabilities. But I did state in the rules that players are expected online "twice a week" at minimum and I should have allowed for time for all players to respond. That's my screw-up and I'm very sorry.
Moving forward, players should feel free to post at whatever pace they're comfortable with--as the game shakes out we'll all get a better sense of the time commitment required. However, in the case of decisions requiring group consensus, I will in future hold posts open longer (up to five days) to give all players a reasonable chance to be heard, as opposed to what happened.
