policy change

First, I want to apologize for closing the post on leadership of the character group early. I should have given all players a reasonable amount of time to respond, and it turns out that at least one player did not get a chance to weigh in with their opinion.

I originally envisioned this as a slower-paced game, and obviously that hasn't happened. Realistically, it doesn't make sense to "throttle" people's posting paces, because people are online at different times and have different availabilities. But I did state in the rules that players are expected online "twice a week" at minimum and I should have allowed for time for all players to respond. That's my screw-up and I'm very sorry.

Moving forward, players should feel free to post at whatever pace they're comfortable with--as the game shakes out we'll all get a better sense of the time commitment required. However, in the case of decisions requiring group consensus, I will in future hold posts open longer (up to five days) to give all players a reasonable chance to be heard, as opposed to what happened.

guidelines: Character RP Posts

Some of y'all may want to do additional RP that is not immediately related to the main move posts--whether that's exploring your characters' backstories, or interpersonal stuff rather than plot stuff. That is fine and encouraged!

I would like to ask you to follow these guidelines when making character RP posts:

- Make a new post to the comm.
- In the subject put [Character RP] and a title--it can be as simple as the time/place.
- In the post itself, put a paragraph or three describing the situation.
- Post your RP as comments to the post proper.

I'll take care of tagging, probably "moves: character rp" and the names of any/all player characters who show up in the move, e.g. (made-up) "characters: andan zhe navo" and "characters: shuos jedao." That way people will be able to keep track of their character RP stuff.

If you have any additional bookkeeping/formatting suggestions, feel free to post them as comments here.
