Follow up to Generalized Art Post #1, which is getting long (and probably long to load as well).

Art may be posted as comments here. :) Please limit width to 600 pixels (and for on-screen viewing you probably want to limit to 72 dpi as well, so the filesizes don't blow up).

I've really been enjoying seeing the creativity of those of you who make art & graphics. :) Thank you for sharing your works!

[Ah, I went Wands=Growing Things=Roses.

I used to have the Rider-Waite deck memorized well enough that I could do readings with ordinary playing cards, but I'm much, much too rusty these days.]

I had associated roses with cups for social connections and emotions (4 and 8 of roses), doors for swords because DOOM and actual swords, gears for pentacles, and eyes for wands with planning/wins and losses/things that are on fire? That way it works even if you switch air and fire associations for swords and wands, since the eyes are all fairly cerebral and the Kel are themselves. BUT the only book I've finished so far is the Castle of Crossed Destinies years ago, and not much else.

With playing cards, isn't the set of meanings a bit different? (I ask because I keep longing for pretty playing card decks too.)

The moral is that my personal associations with cups are much more heavily Intuition and The Unconscious & much less about everyday feelings, which is what I get for learning from a manual that was rather too happy about the Golden Dawn (might've been Waite's book, or a 1970s edition of it with some extra introductory matter).

I'm sure there are other traditions for playing cards, but it's easy to match the suits and go from there!

I don't remember what everyone was doing with the invented Rahal traditions, but now I'm worried about the hexarchate's mystics. (the golden dawn I would fight though)

I feel like there must have been a strong Liozh mystical tradition. Some references probably survive in weirder and edgier Andan work.
