Sulen bites the inside of their cheek, hoping Ashari and Imsayed don't notice. Maybe that's the best reason of all to do it.
"You remember correctly," they say to Imsayed, and catch his gaze, holding it. The smile in his eyes is infectious, and Sulen feels their own mouth turn up just slightly. If he's a former- or current- Andan, this is risky behavior, but he's unlikely to enthrall an ally in a public space right next to Ashari.
