[Can I defer the technical fitness tracker bits to you or any other players who want to chime in? The problem is that while I have now owned a fitness tracker for a few weeks, I literally do not use its networked functions and don't know how they work, let alone security/privacy implications. I use mine as a step counter and watch; that's it.]
