We have a roster of four characters at present. The game will start next week (week of July 2), but it's open to a few more players. If you want to apply, you should probably get in your application by Saturday, July 1.

Goodness, I hope we get some more in so I don't end up being the only one who declined to make an OC! /vague embarrassment

Heh! There's nothing wrong with playing an existing character. :)

I think it's partly an RPG-genre difference? I'm coming from a tabletop background, where making a character is where players always start.

I've done OCs before, I just liked Istradez enough to not want to pass up the chance to bring him back from the dead ;)

I was honestly not sure what the mix would be--I deliberately left things wide open with the time/space rifts, so that we could plausibly have h*archate OCs, h*archate characters from the books, OCs from other settings, and, I dunno, Captain America or Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass...:p
