I left a comment along these lines in the other thread, but I want to say this here, too: our Space Radios mean we can coordinate party actions without physically having all eleven of our characters in the same place.
As a GM I have previously found this kind of instant private communication somewhat irritating, and as players we probably should accept some limitations on the reliability of our Space Radios. But plot-strand togetherness and physical togetherness don't have to match up (thank goodness! It would be really awkward if we all descended on Remi's dance practice, for instance.)
