"Right, then. You, me, Seyli, Alaric, and Fyedlet. The story for the station is that you're the captain and Alaric and I are the technical experts; the story for Flute is that Alaric is the brains of our operation, I got stuck in charge because I can translate between Alaric and normal human, and the rest of you would rather be anywhere else. Either way, Fyedlet can carry stuff. Sound good?"
